After you create your package you can add Proper Shipping Names to it.
Using the search box enter the UN Number or Proper Shipping Name that you want to ship. You can enter the first few letters and ShipEasy Platinum Web will find all hazardous materials that match.
You will be presented with a list of matching records. Carefully select the proper UN Number paying particular attention to the Packing Group.
Click the Add link for the material you are shipping and you will be redirected to the hazmat detail screen. This screen may look different based on several factors including the type of service you selected and the hazardous material being added. For example if you are processing a radioactive materials you will see additional fields that pertain specifically to radioactive materials.
Enter the Quantify. If you are shipping 4 - 1 Liter bottles of a flammable liquid you will enter 4 in the Quantity and select L from the Unit drop down box.

If you are shipping a hazardous substance with a Reportable Quantity you must check 
ShipEasy Platinum Web will check several parameters to ensure you are in compliance. Below are some examples of the messages you may see while processing the hazardous material. These messages may not apply to all hazardous materials.
Technical name is needed.
If a DOT Special Permit(Exemption), EX Number, etc is needed.

When you are finished entering all the required information click the Save button on the toolbar and you will be returned to the package screen.
